Put the Cushions Back on the Couch!

And this is why our next couch will have cushions that are ATTACHED.  I'm thinking dark leather.
"But it's so much fun Mom!"  
Daddy will be putting them in time out when he gets home because I am so sick of this trick.  
What are your kids continually doing to piss you off?

My kids still pine over the day they watched their uncle's pick-up truck drive away into the sunset carrying their fortress building corduroy sectional couch. Replaced by the dark merlot bonded leather no fun at all number. Mrs. Stow, we've got a children's book in the making!! Have your people call my people.

Honestly! This sectional was a wedding gift. We know we'll have it for a good, ahhhh 5 more years AT LEAST! It's just so funny to think back to '03 when I was furniture shopping...I was so naive. LOL. And it would be a great children's book!

OMG this used to drive me totally insane! And jumping on the couch. My youngest actually broke his arm being Buzz Lightyear jumping off the couch!! At one point I was considering having no couch at all!! This couch is now in the playroom with fitted slipcover over it :)

Kelly, that is what we say....."I'm not going to Norwood Hospital tonight!" Terrible things can happen! No couch at all has also been threatened. The time-outs aren't fun, but they don't really work long term. Hmmm.

Isn't it so wonderful that your children play so many creative and imaginative games with those cushions? It was so thoughtful of you to buy a couch with removable cushions. I'm sure they appreciate having such a supportive Mom.
