Caving on Uggs

$200:  Whoa Nelly.
Chocolate, Chestnut or Black?

I talk a lot.  The mom I recently cornered in the bathroom of the Picadilly Pub said her sister got her the chocolate ones and she liked them, but she thought that the Chestnut (shown) would have been better with jeans, etc.  I don't have ANY boots, fashionable or sensible.  I don't have ANY skinny jeans either.  That's because I'm not skinny.  What color!!!??  I feel like this is such a huge decision!  Help a 34 year-old mother out!  Black seems too "safe."  If I'm gonna go Ugg, then I better do it right!

I received short black Uggs for my 34th birthday in October and I love them. No buttons, so they're a little cheaper. I've been wearing them a lot though - I say get what color you like best and then design your outfits around them!

I own short black and tall Gray. And one pair of skinny jeans. The bulk of my jeans are boot cut, so in true mom fashion I wear 'em over the uggs. Lame, I am sure. But warm and toasty feet with NO SOCKS in the middle of January is so worth it. ;)

If you wear more black/gray get the black, if you're more of a navy/tan gal I'd go with the chestnut.

My big obsession these days are dankso clogs. Am I behind the times?

Oh, no THE CLOGS ARE A MUST!!!! The thing is, I bought a pair of fancy swirly red/black ones at Nordstrom a couple months ago, but one of them was a little weird in the fit, so I returned (I'm all about comfort!) I have a pair of brown ones, but I want black patent leather ones too. I still have the store credit at Nordstrom....so I'm going to probably go get Uggs AND Dansko clogs! :)
