5 Things I Learned This Week As the Parent of a Kindergartner

The 1 o'clock poop is now the 3:40 poop. The quicker that poop comes out of that Kindergartner, the better. Those are some stinky farts.
Being on the other side of the school building is crazy. I'm a parent of a school-aged child now and I am leaving my girl in the hands of others for 7 hours/day. Yes, I'd love to be a fly on the wall, but I know she is in good hands. Teachers are wonderful people.
It's an amazing feeling watching her step on and off that bus each day with a big smile. I am so proud of her. She's got the whole world waiting for her.
Kindergartners need a 2nd lunch after the 3:40 poop.
Thank your child's teacher. They work hard and they're dedicated. If your child had a great start this week, I recommend taking a minute to thank him/her. It's a rarity these days and it's much appreciated.
